Lately I've really gotten an interest in photography. But I really only liked looking at it, not doing it cause I know I'm not very good. But today I decided to try it, and I know they're not that great, but I hope you enjoy them anyway. Comment and let me know what you think. =)

Drowning in my sleep.... [

So the freaking weirdest thing happened to me today. Some people already know about this, in which case, you get to hear about it again. =) So today in theatre, Meagan was talking to Mr. Pala, and I dont remember what they were saying but then Mr. Pala said something like "you wanna date me dont you" and Meagan was just like "no" and then he was like "well sorry I'm taken. By my job. And by Stacy." and I was just like "WHAT!?!?!" and then he was like "sorry, I just had to tell someone". And Meagan and Melinda and Miranda just sat there and made fun of me for a while. And the whole time I was just sitting there cracking up laughing, so hard that I was crying. That had to have been the weirdest thing that ever happened to me, even weirder than what happened last year and that was weird enough. Just for the record and incase anyone is confused, I am NOT dating mr. pala! lol Anyways, on a less strange note, my Hawk and Kutless cd's FINALLY came. It took a week for them to get here even though I have no idea why cause they were coming from Franklin which is only like 2 hours away. But atleast they're here. And they're SWEEEET. Here's my review: Smile Its the End of the World by Hawk Nelson is an AWESOME cd, though personally, Letters to the President will always be my favorite simply because of Matt and Dave. I miss those crazy Canadians. However, it was cool cause I ordered mine autographed, but instead of opening my package, they just gave me an extra cd insert thing and they signed that. And they have posters on them so I have the autographed one in the cd case and the other one is hanging up in my room. My cd also came with a free Hawk Nelson kazoo. Its neat since it says Hawk Nelson on it, but it doesnt work =( Oh well. I still love them. Hearts of the Innocent by Kutless is also an AWESOME cd. And since I'm cool, I got the special edition which came with a dvd containing all the music videos, four of which I hadnt seen before so its sweeeet. The old videos make me laugh cause they've changed so much. I heart them =) God Bless

So we got our report cards like a week ago and while I was hoping for an A in biology, I figured it wouldnt happen so its alright. I got A's in everything else (and a 100 in algebra 2. how did that happen?) so its all good. I'm just gonna try to work harder this semester so I can get an A for the semester cause I really wanna bring my GPA up to a 3.8 and in order to do that, I have to get a 4.0 atleast 2 semesters and a 3.8 for every other semester. So far its actually working. I got a 97 on our last test. Though its not because I'm trying harder, its just cause the class is easier so far this quarter. Last Friday we made babies in there. (I know what you're thinking, you pervert. lol just kidding) Ours was so ugly. It had big eyes, a small mouth, small nose, big square cleft chin, and hairy ears. Atleast Kyle let me name him (sorta). Anyways we did our scheduling for next year this week. I'm taking (hopefully) AP English, AP US history, chemistry, pre cal, model un, mock trial, and forensics. I'm pretty excited cause I should love forensics, model un, and mock trial. I've really started getting into theatre, even more than before, and if model un and mock trial are as fun as they were in middle school, I'll love those too. And I wasnt gonna take AP since I really wanna bring up my GPA, but my parents want me to and it is for college credit and I probably could do well if I tried really really hard. And then yesterday was the talent show. It was pretty fun, mostly because I got to miss algebra. The thing I enjoyed the most was the tribute to nysnc thing but thats just cause anyone who knows me really well knows I used to be an nsync junkie...and I bow my head in shame...But I dont think it was as good as it was last year. Oh well. And incase anyone cares, I have a new favorite thing to say in French. "Je ne suis pas intelligent!" Translation: I am not smart. =) I also like saying "J'ai foi" which means "I have faith" And I'm suing the US postal service cause I ordered 2 cds off the internet and the website shipped them Tuesday, but 4 days later they still arent here and it used to be that they'd ship them one day and I'd get them the next. Grr...

Have a great weekend. God Bless

So my birthday party just ended about 45 min ago and while it could have been alot better since I only invited 7 people in the first place and only 3 could come, it was still really fun. For a while we just hung out in my kitchen and ate and almost died laughing. We were just talking a bit and then we got out the phonebook to look up someone's number, so then we decided to read through names in the phonebook and laugh at them. The longest last name we saw was 19 letters long. And there was one name that was so freakin funny. I dont remember what the last name was, but the first name was Kittipong....yea....and then Bekah started throwing food at people and she kept throwing gummy worms at me and that hurt. And then we ate pizza and ice cream cake and I dont remember why but Bekah just started cracking up laughing and she couldnt stop and she made these funny laughs that were so high pitched and girly and so then we all started laughing and then Shayla laughed like a goose which just made us crack up even more and we just couldnt stop. My stomach still hurts from all the laughing we did. But hey, laughter is the world's best medicine. And then I opened presents (thanks!) and then we went down stairs and played pool and laughed some more and just hung out. While I had originally hoped for this great, big sweet 16 party, and that didnt happen, it was still alot of fun. Of course now the fun ends, as we have to go back to school on Monday. Blah. But hey, just one more quarter till summer. And then we're juniors. woo-hoo.....

God Bless

And thats why I need You... [

[ mood | satisfied ]

God has really got me thinking lately. For me, the past month and a half has been the biggest emotional rollercoaster of my life, my closest friends know what I'm talking about. And God really used that to get to me. And so I've become closer to Him since then. The emotional coaster has brought some really tough times, and its not like I havent been through this before. I have, twice, although I think its even worse this time. But the big difference between then and now is that then I kinda blamed God for every little bad thing that happened. I tried to fix things myself and when I couldnt, I kinda expected Him to help me. But this time, I dont blame God for anything. There's a reason for everything that happens. I may not have a clue what that reason is, but I trust 100% in God that its a good reason. And that someday I'll be glad that all this happened. And I'm not trying to fix things myself this time. I'm surrendering it all to Him and letting Him fix my broken heart. And ya know what? He is. It still hurts, but He is helping me. The truth is that sometimes life really sucks. Sometimes life is really really hard, especially as a teenager. So you mix the tough stuff in life with trying to stay focused on and true to God and it all becomes really difficult. But ya know, while God promised alot of things in the Bible, he didnt promise that life would be easy or that trying to stay a good Christian would be easy. It says in the Bible that we're sinful by nature. But what God does promise is that He'll be there every step of the way to help us. I have a teen study Bible and in it, it takes verses and then tells like a little story or something to tie that verse in with real life. Some are promises that God made, others are just random verses. This is what it says for one of the promises which made me cry when I first read it:

He promises to strengthen you "My soul melts from heaviness; strengthen me according to your word." Psalm 119:28 Having one of those blacker than black days? Just make the world stop you wanna get off? No one is making sense. Nothing helps. You keep fighting back tears. You are overcome with sorrow and pain. No one could possibly understand...no one but God. God promises to encourage you in your darkest hour. If you will seek Him with all of your heart, He will come to you. He will show you the path that leads out of your situation. He will conduct a holy pep rally just for you. He will wipe away your tears. He will carry your heavy load. He is much better at all this than you are, so let Him take it from here. Climb up into his strong arms. Lay your head down and rest.

That passage is all too true and real. All you have to do is take 30 seconds of your time to say "God, I need you. please help me." Thats one great thing about God. Its that simple. And while we all love to run to our friends and tell them our problems, and there's nothing wrong with that, afterall God didnt give us friends for no reason, but we all know that as much as they try, they cant be there all the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But God can. And He's capable of helping 10 billion people at once, too. And as far as trying to stay a good Christian, of course we're supposed to strive to be perfect. But we all know we mess up. I'm certainly not trying to say in anyway that I'm a perfect Christian. I know I'm not. I still have flaws and things I have to work on. Here's my analogy: If I had one single cheerio for every time I messed up, I'd have enough cheerios to wipe out world hunger, plus some left over. But that is just another one of the AMAZING things about God. He doesnt care. He forgives us anyway, no matter what. He'll always forgive us and always love us. You just have to call out to him. As said in Every Little Thing by Hawk Nelson, "the world would be so simple if we'd all just learn to pray" So if you're hurting or know you've really messed up, just do it. Talk to Him. let Him be your best friend. He's always there.

"Pencil marks on a wall, I wasn't always this tall
You scattered some monsters from beneath my bed
You watched my team win
You watched my team lose
Watched when my bicycle went down again
And when I was weak, unable to speak
Still I could call You by name
And I said, Elbow Healer, Superhero
Come if You can
You said, I Am
Only sixteen, life is so mean
What kind of curfew is at 10pm?
You saw my mistakes
And watched my heart break
Heard when I swore I'd never love again
And when I was weak, unable to speak
Still I could call You by name
And I said Heartache Healer, Secret Keeper
Be my best friend
And you said, I Am"

God Bless

Like woah...even though my birthday isnt until Monday, my parents gave me my birthday present and guess what it is...no, not a car, but I knew I wasnt gonna get a car yet...a Razr! As in the REALLY nice cell phone...to be honest, I'm really not all that surprised cause I know they were thinking of getting me one and while my only complaint with my old phone is that it doesnt have a camera and sometimes I'd like to have a camera phone, we all have to get new phones anyway. We signed up originally with at&t but then cingular bought out at&t and our 2 year contract ends in october and for some gay reason, we'd have to get all new phones and a new plan. So yea. I love my new phone, it just feels weird though cause this is the most expensive birthday gift I've ever gotten (even though after rebate its only like $70) and I know alot of people want Razrs and now I have one and I'm just not used to having super nice stuff. So now I feel kinda spoiled even though I'm not. Anyways, I hope everyone has a great spring break. I'm still free if anybody wants to do anything. God Bless

I tried to be perfect... [

[ mood | peaceful ]

Just one more day till spring break! heck yes! Then I'll get to sleep in, migrate to the computer where I'll stay for most of the day, go to bed at like 11 and repeat. lol Yea, we're not going anywhere so if anyone wants to hang out or something just let me know. Anyways today we had our first set of exams and since we're not technically having one in French, today I just had the one in theatre and it was pretty easy. Although yesterday we played a review game and I was chosen by my team to answer the final question which would determine whether we won or not and go me, I got it wrong. Needless to say I felt like an idiot, but hey I should be used to feeling like that by now. Then last night I finally got around to pre ordering Hearts of the Innocent special edition and Smile Its the End of World with autographed cover and free Hawk Nelson kazoo. Thats right, they're not giving away free stickers or patches or pins (although you can get a free patch through another website and they gave 3 pins with the Letters to the Pres. special edition which I proudly display on my backpack =] ), they give away a kazoo. And then later last night I was bored so I just looked through random quotes on websites and I found some "girls only" type ones and I found one thats just so hilarious I just have to share it. (to any of my guy friends who might be reading this, its nothing personal and I still love ya, so just completely disregard what I'm about to say =] ) "Mental anxiety, Mental breakdowns, Menstrual cramps, Menopause... Did you ever notice how all our problems begin with Men?" haha sorry that made me happy....Anyways I'm excited cause my birthday is Monday meaning (I'm doing this just for Bekah) I turn 16 in 5 days, 7 hours, and 33 minutes (sorry, no seconds, Bekah) I'm pretty excited about my party too which is gonna be on the 25th but I invited 7 people and so far 3 can come, 1 cant, and the rest I have no idea, but hopefully they can cause 3 people isnt much of a party. Anyways so as kinda a little birthday present to myself I decided to give my room a little mini-makeover cause most of the stuff in there I've had since middle school and while its not like that was THAT long ago, I've changed so freakin much since then, its not even funny, so yea. I already got rid of a bunch of stuff that I dont want or never use anymore and then the main thing was I giving my furniture a little makeover. We can't really afford to buy new furniture so I just decided to make it my own. I used to have a bunch of stickers all over my desk and stuff so I peeled them all off and I painted pink and black stars. I finished my desk last night, and I'll do the rest over spring break. And while it definitely doesnt look professional or anything, I'm still kinda proud that I did it myself and it looks pretty cool, so yea. Alright, well I guess thats enough of my blabbing. God Bless.
